HVLP Leather Spraying System
Fengmi's HVLP (high-volume, low-pressure) spraying system combines low air pressure with a high-flow configuration to achieve uniform atomisation, less rebound, and elevated transfer efficiency. In comparison to conventional high-pressure spray coating, it conserves around 20–30% of coating material while reducing dust emissions and pollutants, so achieving a balance between economic efficiency and environmental sustainability. Additional intake channels and a buffering construction ensure abundant and consistent airflow at low pressure, enabling a superior finish at merely 0.6–1.5 kg of spray pressure, rendering it optimal for leather dyeing and surface treatment.
- Air inlet size must reach a 1-inch bore to provide sufficient air volume, which is one of the key differences from conventional high-pressure spraying systems.
- The finishing material enters an air-storage reservoir that helps stabilize airflow and pressure, ensuring a consistent air supply to the spray guns.
- A high-pressure spray gun's atomizing air typically uses a single 10mm inlet; the low-pressure spray gun uses two 12mm inlets, matching the flow of a high-pressure spraying system.
- Spray pressure: conventional high-pressure spray guns need approximately 4–6kg air pressure; HVLP spraying achieves the same atomization quality at just 0.6–1.5kg.
