Wet-blue and wet-white leather are the results of the tanning process of animal hides, which may involve the use of chromium, vegetable, or mineral tanning agents. It is imperative to accurately measure wet-blue hides in order to evaluate the tanning yield. Producers can estimate output and modify the process when waste exceeds a certain threshold by comparing the weight and dimensions of the hides before and after tanning.
Fengmi's GLGWP series leather measuring machine is specifically engineered for wet-blue and wet-white leather, ensuring that the dimensions, thickness, and weight of the hide are accurately detected to reduce material loss and enhance the area yield in production.
Designed specifically for tanneries to accurately measure wet-blue hides that have not been sammed (squeezed).
The GLGWP flat-bed wet-blue measuring machine is not suitable for sammed (squeezed) wet-blue hides, as this may produce undersized readings.

The scanning module uses a fully enclosed construction that prevents chemical contamination from wet-blue hides and protects scanning accuracy.
